The Man, The Myth. In the beginning there was nothing... but bland jewellery. The people lamented their empty lives. Then one fateful day, on the 12th day of April, in the year of 1981 a planetary alinement heralded, in spectacular cosmological splendor, the birth of a man (although at the time he wasn’t a man,( thankfully for his mother.)) And what did this celestial phenomena portend? It was a new beginning for consumers of fine articles of adornment. Never again would the world be starved of beautifully crafted trinkets, at such competitive prices. The whole world rejoiced.
Brady Jones. I started making jewellery under the wings of a skilled and established jeweller called Jeremy Heber in 2002. Since 2005 I have struck out on my own and am now designing as well as manufacturing my own range of jewellery.
Quality I believe in the quality of my products. This is achieved by the use of good component parts and ethically sourced stones. Silver, gold and platinum are all of the English standard hallmark, regulated by assay offices, that guarantee a high and unvarying standard of metal. In which it differs from cheaper disposable jewellery, widely available from an almost inexhaustible resource of developing countries, middle managed ( badly; keeping the prices as keen as possible by using cheap materials) by an ,arguably exploitive, retailer in this country... But don’t get me started on that. The difference, to highlight, is inferior materials equates to shoddy goods and that isn’t something I deal in.
Customer Service I think it is difficult to buy online, especially a tactile object like jewellery. With this in mind, I offer the chance to return the jewellery, at the cost of the postage, with no obligation to buy. Providing the item of jewellery is still in good condition. No questions.
Project. I thought some people would find it interesting to see how things are done in my workshop, so I’ve included this little project so you can see the metamorphosis of lumps of metal being turned into objects of adornment.
